Miami University’s Office of Admission seeks an energetic, creative, and collaborative individual to serve as Assistant/Senior Assistant Director of High Ability Recruitment. In partnership with admission team members, this position will play an integral role in the realization of organizational priorities and institutional goals and assume the management of a first-year recruitment territory to include 6-8 weeks of travel, application review, and relationship management.
The Assistant/Senior Assistant Director of High Ability Recruitment is directly responsible for attracting, recruiting, and enrolling an academically talented and diverse student body to Miami University; developing and executing high ability recruitment programs including but not limited to the University Honors Program (UHP), the University Academic Scholars Program (UASP), and National Merit outreach, as well as related communication plans for the Office of Admission. Additionally, the position oversees all facets of recruiting, enrolling, and executing Miami’s Summer Scholars Program (SSP), a two-week residential experience for high school students. The position reports to the Senior Associate Director of Admission.
