The Director of Auxiliary Services role is to ensure the successful management and execution of a number of non-curricular services, transactions, support services and programs for the Carleton College community. This position oversees and provides direction to the following functions: Campus Dining, the Campus Bookstore, Campus Services, Print Services, Mail Services, Campus Space Scheduling, Fleet Vehicles and Student Transportation, the One Card program and the Information Desk in Sayles-Hill. The Director of Auxiliary Services also manages the integrated security functions associated with the One Card access programs including Video Surveillance and Electronic Access Control. One Card and Video Surveillance are shared services with St. Olaf College, this position provides vendor oversight and interface for the two colleges.
This position reports directly to the Vice President and Treasurer and is a member of the VP&T’s Business and Finance Senior Staff group. This is a full-time year-round position.

The successful candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and five to ten years of management experience to include daily operations of auxiliary or entrepreneurial services, supervisory responsibility and budget preparation. A master’s degree in a related field of study and/or experience in a similar role within a higher education setting is desirable.
