Department OverviewThe Institute on Development and Disability (IDD) at OHSU is Oregon's leading academic health organization working to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities through state-of-the-art patient care, innovative scholarship, statewide public health efforts, and advocacy. In addition to a robust clinical enterprise, the IDD sponsors a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities; extensive training initiatives, including a federally funded interdisciplinary training program (LEND) as well as several accredited discipline-specific training programs; Oregon's Title V program for youth with special health needs; Oregon's Office on Disability and Health; and several other research centers and programs.
