Reports to the Department Administrator (DA) in the Department of History of Art of Architecture (HAA). The department is comprised of 23 faculty, and approximately 60 undergraduate concentrators and 70 graduate students. With both independent and collaborative responsibilities, the HAA Administrative Coordinator provides a wide range of administrative support for the scholarly and research work of the Department of History of Art and Architecture (HAA). As a front-facing member of HAA, the Administrative Coordinator is expected to work in a well-organized and professional manner with meticulous attention to detail and organization.
The Department of History of Art and Architecture (HAA) is an academic department in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. It is comprised of twenty-three faculty members, approximately seventy PhD students and sixty undergraduate concentrators. HAA academics and scholarly research spans the globe and covers about four millennia.Please include a cover letter with your application. High school diploma plus a minimum of three years administrative support beyond high school
College degree preferred. Prior experience with academic program support in higher-education preferred. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom required. Demonstrated working knowledge of Oracle Financials, Concur, RoomBook (EMS), Google suite, OpenScholar preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of interacting with and communicating with diverse groups of people with tact and diplomacy. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion and initiative required. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a close team of staff sharing responsibilities when necessary to meet the needs of the Department. A positive and enthusiastic attitude with great attention to detail.
