Germantown Friend School seeks an Operational Logistics Associate to work with a variety of constituencies across all divisions (Early Childhood-12th grade) to facilitate student transportation needs. The Associate must communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators; build relationships with vendors; and keep detailed and accurate records of ridership. This position reports directly to the Director of Security and Operations.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting with on-the-ground logistics.
- Maintaining accurate records of each bus and registered riders.
- Communicating with divisional offices to ensure teachers and staff are aware of up-to-date information regarding arrival and departure.
- Managing communication with parents.
- Updating bus logs and transportation records to reflect rider changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Experience in customer service, scheduling, working with vendors, and logistics.
The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various constituencies. Knowledge of Veracross and/or other database systems is a plus.
