Access Technology and Digital Accessibility Specialist
The Accessibility Services Office (ASO) provides accessibility accommodations to students enrolled in courses, programs, or degrees through the Division of Continuing Education (DCE). This position will focus on fulfilling student requests for alternative text and media by remediating course documents posted to Canvas to ensure all students have access to course content. Manages assessment of student needs for Assistive Technology (AT), including but not limited to screen reading technology, speech to text technology, dictation software, magnification software. Independently researches for and procures accessible electronic textbooks from different sources like Access Text Network, Bookshare, Hollis Library catalog and publisher files. Physically
