NHP Specialist / Animal Technician III
Position DescriptionResponsible for the daily care of various laboratory animals, including non-human primates, mice, rats, rabbits and/or other species of laboratory animals as necessary. Duties include the husbandry, feeding, and watering of non-human primates, and all associated cage wash activities. May be required to work in ABSLII and/or quarantine animal areas.Other responsibilities include:Observing animals for abnormalities and sickness, and reporting such findings to the appropriate Supervisory or Veterinary personnelObserving and reporting environmental deviations which would affect animal health and research projects (e.g. high temperature or humidity)Maintaining accurate records related to animal hea
