Basic Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biomedical engineering, or related field with at least 2 years of direct cell culture or related experience required.
• Education may count towards year of experience.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

Desirable Skills:

• Advanced degree strongly preferred in biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biomedical engineering or related field.
• Experience with in vitro analytical techniques to assess the cell viability of tissue constructs.
• Experience with microfluidics.
• Experience working with induced pluripotent stem cells.
• Experience with 3D cell and tissue cultures.
• Willingness to work outside of his/her discipline to accomplish project goals.
• Excellent molecular biology skills.
• Experience with flow cytometry, ELISAs, PCR, and microscopy. Animal work experience.
• Proven ability to draft and implement lab protocols. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong work ethic, communication skills, and goal-oriented personality.

Working Conditions

This position will be based on our campus in Boston, MA and will require on-campus presence. Subject to business needs, the Wyss Institute generally supports flexible work arrangements.
