Director of Field Placements and Partnerships

Overview: Oversee the design and implementation of all policies and procedures related to the establishment and maintenance of field partnerships between Providence College Education programs and PK-12 schools as mandated by the RI Department of Education (RJDE). Potential for teaching a course or supervising students in the field based on area of expertise. Essential Duties: 1. Recruit clinical educators for practicum and student teaching purposes, following procedures established with school districts and program directors. Modify and/or establish placement procedures with districts when necessary. Manage the placement/matching of students from various departments and programs with clinical educators.
